Bread has never been easier with these air fryer recipes. Use our basic air fryer bread dough recipe, then mix it up with one of four flavour variations.
Basic air fryer bread dough
Combine 600g packet white bread mix and 2 teaspoons yeast in a large bowl. Add 1 1/3 cups (330ml) lukewarm water; mix to form a dough. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes (or 6 minutes in an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook) or until dough is smooth and elastic. Return dough to cleaned bowl; cover with plastic wrap. Stand in a warm place for 30 minutes or until dough has doubled in size. Using your fist, punch down on dough to remove air. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 2 minutes or until smooth. Continue recipe using one of the variations below.

Reset the temperature to 170°C; cook for 15 minutes.
Combine 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil and 2 tablespoons sun-dried tomato pesto in a small bowl. Spread pesto mixture over focaccia, then sprinkle with 2 cloves sliced garlic and 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes; cook for 7 minutes or until focaccia is golden and cooked through. Top with basil leaves to serve.

Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes. Taking care, line the air fryer basket with baking paper. Place the dough balls, 2cm apart, in the basket. Reset the temperature to 170°C; cook for 15 minutes or until buns are golden and cooked through.
