1.Microwave potatoes, covered, in a heatproof bowl, on high (100%) for about 6 minutes or until just tender.
2.Heat 2 teaspoons of the oil in a large frying pan over high heat; cook sausages, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan; cover to keep warm.
3.Heat 2½ tablespoons of the remaining oil in a large saucepan over high heat; cook bacon, stirring, until browned. Add garlic, stirring, until fragrant. Add cabbage, reduce heat to low; cook, covered, about 5 minutes or until tender, stirring halfway through cooking time.
4.Meanwhile, heat remaining oil in same frying pan; cook potatoes, turning, about 10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
5.Serve sausages with cabbage and potatoes.
Use a mandoline or V-slicer to finely shred the cabbage.
