2.Sift flour into bowl, add sugar, rub in butter. Press evenly into prepared pan. Bake in moderate oven 15 minutes, spread with filling, bake further 25 minutes, cool in pan. When cold, spread with icing, cut when icing is set.
3.To make filling. Sift milk powder, flour and drinking chocolate into bowl, stir in sugar, coconut, almonds, eggs and essence, mix well.
4.Malted Icing. Sift icing sugar, milk powder and drinking chocolate into small heatproof bowl, stir in combined coffee, water and butter. Stir over hot water until icing is spreadable.
