Cheese béchamel

Method

1.To make the cheese béchamel: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add flour; cook, stirring, for about 1 minute, or until mixture bubbles and thickens. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring, for about 1 minute, or until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat; stir in cheese and parsley.
2.Spread béchamel onto bread slices. Top four slices with ham, then remaining bread.
3.In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sandwiches; toast, in batches, for about 2 minutes, or until browned both sides.
4.Fry eggs in the same pan for about 2 minutes, or until cooked to your liking; place an egg on each sandwich. Serve.

Not suitable to freeze. Not suitable to microwave.
